Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser Skin Resurfacing is done by two methods either ablative or by a non-ablative laser that strikes directly on the water directly on your skin that is on the Fractional E: Glass or fractional co2. It works directly by targeting the water molecule in your skin cell and micro injuries. That is created in your skin which leads to skin tightening in which the body responds by creating new collagen and elastin cells (essentially skin cells). This works especially for scars since a previous injury had resulted in the body responding with scar tissue, but after the laser, the body responds with normal skin cells, and over a period of time after a few sessions, scars start fading. The type of laser used depends on the depth and nature of your scar. Also, one of the most important factors is the skill of the dermatologist. Non-ablative lasers usually work well in superficial scars and there is no post-procedure downtime. The other end of the spectrum is CO2 which is used for deeper scar
